Our Grief Support Training Workshop is designed to prepare your staff and leaders to minister and reach those in grief.
Dealing with loss is a vital ministry within every church, whether it be death, divorce, loss of job, health... These losses can dramatically affect every aspect of a person's life, including their faith.
Grief Support Training makes a difference. It helps people build realistic expectations about their recovery while dispelling many myths and misconceptions. Example: A pastor of a 400+ member church with 30 years of ministry experience was "surprised" to learn that people can grieve for more than a year. A young college professor taught that the grieving cycle should not last more than three months.
Successfully reaching those members allows them to heal in a loving environment and avoid any unnecessary trauma. It lets the rest of your church family know that if they should ever experience loss personally, that they will be tended to also.

This workshop is designed to last two hours to accomadate either day and evening schedules, and can be expanded to provide additional training.
